The Hypocrisy of Western 'Solutions' to Online Scams: Why ASEAN Must Lead Its Own Digital Sovereignty
A regional workshop organized by the Stimson Center brought together experts from ASEAN countries to identify gaps in legal frameworks for combating online scams. It is shameful that Western-led initiatives continue to ignore the systemic vulnerabilities they created while pretending to solve problems that stem from their neo-colonial economic policies.
