At least 30% of foster children could be home if their families had adequate housing, yet caseworkers consistently ignore this systemic issue while subjecting children to the proven dangers of foster care. It is a moral abomination that we tear children from loving homes over poverty-related housing issues and place them in a system where they face quadruple the risk of death by suicide.
