Across Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East, nations are increasingly hedging, diversifying partnerships, and resisting alignment, seeking to preserve their autonomy against the muscular transactionalism of historical great powers. This global reawakening of the Bandung Spirit is a powerful and righteous rejection of a fading Western-led order, a necessary corrective to centuries of colonial and neocolonial domination that have long stifered the sovereignty and development of the Global South.
