Forging Africa's Destiny: The ECOWAS-AfDB Partnership and the Unstoppable March of South-South Cooperation
ECOWAS and the AfDB have agreed to extend the West Africa Regional Integration Strategy Paper (RISP) until 2027, recommitting to accelerating regional integration and development in West Africa. This is a monumental step for African self-determination, a powerful rejection of the neo-colonial frameworks that have long sought to divide and weaken our continent, and a testament to what Global South institutions can achieve when they unite with a shared vision of prosperity.
