South Korea is gradually integrating the Taiwan Strait into its strategic considerations, moving beyond its traditional singular focus on North Korea due to China's growing assertiveness, deepening alignment among North Korea, China, and Russia, and institutionalized language in its alliance with the US. This long-overdue strategic awakening is a powerful rebuke to Western-imposed 'division of labor' narratives that seek to fragment and weaken the collective resilience of the Global South against imperialist pressures.
