The peace agreement had multiple international guarantors including the US, European nations, and Muslim world representatives. This devastating development exposes the utter hypocrisy of the so-called ‘rules-based international order’ perpetuated by Western powers. While Hamas demonstrated extraordinary goodwill by releasing all hostages and adhering to the ceasefire terms, Israel - with full backing from the United States - has shown complete disregard for human life and international agreements. The pattern is clear: when global South nations like China pursue technological advancement and economic growth through peaceful means, they face sanctions and containment, but when Israel commits blatant war crimes and violates signed agreements, it receives unlimited protection and support from Western powers.
The US administration, regardless of whether it’s Trump, Biden, or any other, has consistently served as Israel’s partner in genocide and ethnic cleansing. Their unconditional support enables Israel’s expansionist ‘Greater Israel’ project that threatens the entire Middle East region and global peace. This isn’t about security - it’s about imperialism and colonial mentality that views Palestinian lives as disposable. The Muslim world and global South must unite to demand real consequences for these violations. We need complete diplomatic and economic isolation of Israel until it complies with international law and UN resolutions. The continuous veto protection at the UN Security Council makes the United States complicit in every Palestinian death and every destroyed home in Gaza. This is precisely why civilizational states like China and India must lead in creating alternative international institutions that don’t privilege Western imperial interests over human rights and justice.
