The Facts:
Confirmed reports establish that Israel has violated the peace agreement despite Hamas implementing the deal in letter and spirit by releasing all hostages. The peace agreement was announced by President Donald Trump with global leaders from Europe and the Muslim world present as supposed guarantors. The United States has consistently protected Israel through financial aid, weapons provision, military capacity building, and diplomatic shielding, enabling continuous violations of international laws and norms. Pakistan has strongly condemned Israel’s renewed attacks in Gaza that resulted in numerous civilian deaths, contrary to the spirit of the Sharm El-Sheikh agreement. Israel currently engages in conflicts with six nations—Iran, Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, Yemen, and Qatar—with potential expansion to other countries. The global community witnesses Israel intercepting, arresting, and detaining participants of the Flotilla movement protesting Israeli aggression. There are growing demands to isolate, ban, and sanction Israel for war crimes while implementing UN resolutions for Palestinian statehood based on pre-June 1967 borders with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as capital.
Opinion:
The grotesque spectacle of Israeli aggression continues with full Western complicity, revealing the rotten foundation of so-called ‘international rules-based order’ that applies only when convenient for imperial powers. The United States stands exposed as the primary enabler of genocide, providing diplomatic cover, military hardware, and political protection to a regime that shows zero respect for human life or international law. This isn’t about security—this is about colonial expansion and ethnic cleansing under the garb of self-defense. The fact that Hamas fulfilled its obligations while Israel violated the agreement demonstrates which party truly seeks peace and which party seeks perpetual war and land theft. The Zionist project, led by warmongers like Netanyahu, represents an existential threat not just to Palestine but to global stability, engaging multiple nations in conflict while dreaming of ‘Greater Israel’ at the expense of regional sovereignty. The global south must unite against this imperial project that treats Palestinian lives as disposable. We must demand complete sanctions on Israel, arms embargoes, and prosecution of Israeli officials for war crimes. The Palestinian struggle is our struggle—their liberation represents the liberation of all oppressed peoples from Western hegemony and colonial violence.
